The vision for Alchemy is constantly evolving. It began with the desire for community - a place where like-minded individuals and families (people of all ages, backgrounds & abilities) would come together and support one another to live consciously on the Earth. Thus, we view our employees and our customers as members of our community - holders of the vision - assisting us in achieving our goals. Our physical space is a manifestation of this vision. The juice bar was opened initially and has recently expanded to encompass classes, workshops and large-scale events to bring people together. Now almost five years in the works, we are just now beginning to feel the cohesiveness of the larger picture. We are excited to finally bring together some of the ideas that have been brewing since our inception.
Alchemy is a reflection of how we live our lives and a collection of all of our favorite things! We feed our customers and employees (our community) what we feed our own family every day. We cook with health as the priority! We do not use a microwave, refined sugars, irradiated spices or processed foods. At Alchemy we serve RAW (live) foods, VEGAN (no animal products) and VEGETARIAN (no meat) NON-GMO ORGANIC foods. Organic means NO pesticides, hormones, steroids, antibiotics, irradiation or GMOs (genetically altered foods) and are grown with pure water, land & fertilizer. The best food on the planet is ORGANIC, NON-GMO and has an energy that transmutes aliveness into the body. Thus, even in circumstances where it may not be financially feasible to choose organic over conventional, we continue to choose organic. Thus our costs to you, our customers, reflect an all organic menu. We believe our customers appreciate knowing that when we say organic, we mean all organic! Our hope is to make choosing an organic lifestyle easier for you and your family. We hope you not only appreciate the difference, but taste and feel the difference, too. Organic is the future. It is time to support sustainable practices that not only nurture our bodies, but the earth as well. What we eat, and even more importantly, what we feed our children, will affect us for years to come. Not only do we all deserve to eat organic, but the earth deserves to benefit from an organic lifestyle too! In an age when Mother Earth is melting her polar ice caps in a last ditch effort to heal herself from toxicity and overpopulation, every little bit of recycling, energy conservation, non-toxic detergent usage and composting we can do will help her (our) cause. At Alchemy we choose to be a "green" restaurant operating in an environmentally friendly manner from the food we serve to the toilet paper in our bathroom. Integrity is the basis of our operation. We run our restaurant business as stewards of the earth - definitely a challenge in this industry - and we hope to lead the way for others to follow.
