Interested in Living a More Sustainable Life? Consider becoming a member of The Growing Green Co-op! Member benefits include participation in a state-wide delivery of sustainable goods - biofuels, local produce, organic bulk foods, raw food to go boxes, toxic free house cleaning products, organic linens, eco-friendly body care lines and other "green" products/services will be delivered to co-op members state-wide starting this July that will grow our local economy.
We are currently compiling a state wide list of "green" businesses in Connecticut to be listed in the first edition of CT Green Guide Coupon Book available Jan 2008. A list of the criteria for determining "green" businesses to be included in the directory will be available soon. These books are designed to both educate consumers on the benefits of buying green but also to encourage more businesses to "go green". Please let us know if you are interested in participating.
