Interested in Living a More Sustainable Life? Consider becoming a member of The Growing Green Co-op! Member benefits include participation in a state-wide delivery of sustainable goods - biofuels, local produce, organic bulk foods, raw food to go boxes, toxic free house cleaning products, organic linens, eco-friendly body care lines and other "green" products/services will be delivered to co-op members state-wide starting this July that will grow our local economy.
The Green Vibration is an adventurous attempt of one family's solution to finding ways to live more lightly on the planet while informing and inspiring others to do the same. Our intention is not only to provide healthy, organic, local, non-gmo foods and teach others about the importance of feeding these foods to ourselves and our children, but to also integrate all aspects of "green" living into our daily lives.
We believe we can positively affect our world and slow down climate change by becoming conscious consumers. It is critcal that we begin to question our habitual buying pattens - from the product to its manufacturing process and the sustainability of the company itself. For example, do we really want to support companies like Exxon Mobile and Coca Cola who are causing destruction worldwide (see our activist page for more info).
Our intention is to make it easy for other families to start speaking up and using their power as consumers by shopping wisely. Our new eco-boutique will provide earth friendly products as alternatives to the typical chemical laden, toxic ones that are everywhere around us and provide information as well. We will be offering an environmental programs for children and youth in our new "green" fitness center opening this fall - featuring yoga and rock climbing. The physical aspect of our ideas about health are explored through various forms of fitness with an established foundation of a spiritual yoga practice to nourish the body and feed the soul.
We will demonstrate that there are simple, yet powerful, steps we can each take as individuals that will make the difference! We do have power as consumers. We invite you to join our growing community of individuals and families committed to continuously improving their quality of life while walking gently on Mother Earth.
